Primary office:

Routine procedures of radiogenic isotope analysis:

      U-Pb geochronology of zircon via:

Laser-ablation inductively-coupled mass spectrometry (LA-ICMPS)

Photon Machines (laser), Thermo Element2 (ICPMS)

Chemical abrasion thermal ionization mass spectrometry (CA-TIMS)

                        Isotopx Phoenix

Sr isotopic analysis of archeological, paleontological, and geological samples

            Thermal ionization mass spectrometry (CA-TIMS)

                        VG Sector 54

My research is field-based structural geology analysis linked with high precision U-Pb geochronology to understand tectonic events and rates of deformation.

-Displacement amounts and slip history of faults

      -Tectonic reconstructions and histories

      -Linking mineralization to tectonic histories

-Field work via hiking, 4x4 truck, ATV, horseback, kayak, and helicopter.

-Detailed geologic mapping of >2000 km2 in California, Nevada, Alaska, Chihuahua, Sonora, Zacatecas, and British Virgin Islands.
